Why is this time different?

As you know I have my boys and I love them very much but I am experiencing a kind of euphoria about having this little girl that I have not experienced before.
So the question is why? Even if she had been a boy I would have been happy to have her but is there something about girls that just makes you feel so happy?
It has been almost 5 years since I had a child and it's not necessarily new but things have changed a lot. New toys, new kinds of cribs that go up to a full!? and most importantly since I have had only boys.. girl stuff!
I am just not able to understand this feeling yet and find myself exceptional eager to see her. Even though Brian has expressed a fear that she might be ugly... honestly? Has he even looked at our boys?!
The other thing that I have been wondering is since I have never really been a girly girl, am I going to be a disappointing mother to a little girl? This silly part of me wants to have princess toys and bedding and pink and purple everywhere even though I don't often get myself anything in those colors. Is it hypocritical to want her to be super femmy?
Well no matter what happens we are looking forward to having her here even though she is going to be an alien here for a while! =)

Party time!

Today is the day we have a party for Juju turing 6! I hope he likes his bike but I'm sure he will! =) Time to make some sammiches!

Waking the beast!

Why are men so hard to get out of bed? Little and big alike if they don't want to get up they are not getting up. Perhaps it is the stubborn pigheaded part of them that keeps them there or maybe they are just more easily prone to laziness! Silly boys get out of bed! It's almost noon! =P

Well we went to the doctors today and she says she is sending me in for a formal ultrasound but from what she could see on hers there were no boys parts! =D

Sillyness

I have not taken good videos or pictures of the boys in a while so I tried to get back into the habit. First one should be Juju trying to say Hercules and the second is the boys doing what they do at our house... it's rather small so they have to run back and forth but as you can see they have fun anyways.

Sooo busy doing nothing!

I know I haven't written on here in almost a year but I have not had much time to honestly think about it so forgive me!
Yes we are still alive and yes things are pretty much the same. We have our routine however tedious and uneventful it may be. Brian has work sat-tues from 6-2pm so we don't really don't have typical weekends anymore. He also goes to school at night mon, tues, and fri this semester... it will change in a few weeks when the semester ends.
As for the boys, they just keep goofin around and playing their hearts out. It's finally nice out so hopefully we can start going swimming again.
I am not doing bad at all. No morning sickness no real pain except for this random nerve pain I have to stretch out a few times a day. Other than that cleaning the house and trying to get juju to read are about all I do. I have become a little bit of a netflix addict and find myself watching too many Hercules the legendary journets in a row! ><
So we are just truckin along, taking one day at a time and that sort of thing... OH! I almost forgot Juju has lost some teeth in case you have not seen the pics on my facebook I'll post em here later.
Ok gotta run get the child from school! Hope you are all as wonderful as ever =)

Grrr....

Well we have been down to Vegas and Nellis about 5 times now and still have not gotten our reimbursement done... not that I should be shocked that we are getting the run around from the marine corps but with everything else we have going on it would be nice if they would just do their freakin' job!
I have found places to live a few times but Brian is still looking for a job and I don't want to reserve a place till he does. There are some pretty good options for housing but jobs are scarce and everyone around here is unemployed too... Harsh.
The kids are getting frustrated having to spend so much time in Jenny's little apartment but we have no other choice. We took them down to Jenny's pool a few days in a row which they enjoyed but I trashed my phone in a rescue mission to the drowning Juju. Yay... Mikey has developed a fear of the pool. Not sure why. Juju had a great time and got very confident in his floaties. Yet for some reason Mikey was terrifed of getting in. He did not want to be let go of and he cried the whole time i made him stay in... sissy. Yesterday my friend that lives here Amy came over and he swam with her but thats it.
Anywho we are just chuggin' along just tryin to get things done. We are all anxious to be in our own place again and look forward to settling down a bit. Well it's naptime so I am going to take advantage of it. =)
