Grrr....

Well we have been down to Vegas and Nellis about 5 times now and still have not gotten our reimbursement done... not that I should be shocked that we are getting the run around from the marine corps but with everything else we have going on it would be nice if they would just do their freakin' job!
I have found places to live a few times but Brian is still looking for a job and I don't want to reserve a place till he does. There are some pretty good options for housing but jobs are scarce and everyone around here is unemployed too... Harsh.
The kids are getting frustrated having to spend so much time in Jenny's little apartment but we have no other choice. We took them down to Jenny's pool a few days in a row which they enjoyed but I trashed my phone in a rescue mission to the drowning Juju. Yay... Mikey has developed a fear of the pool. Not sure why. Juju had a great time and got very confident in his floaties. Yet for some reason Mikey was terrifed of getting in. He did not want to be let go of and he cried the whole time i made him stay in... sissy. Yesterday my friend that lives here Amy came over and he swam with her but thats it.
Anywho we are just chuggin' along just tryin to get things done. We are all anxious to be in our own place again and look forward to settling down a bit. Well it's naptime so I am going to take advantage of it. =)

Salt Lake trip

Well we just got back from visiting the family up north and lots has changed. Got to meet my adorable neice Danielle and go to the Hogle Zoo with Steven and Marci but we all forgot our cameras ><. Then we got to go to Springville and see Dad and the rest the family at Steph's birthday party. There were some new kids runnin around and some that were grown up from when we saw them last. All in all it was a good trip and we are looking forward to going to the Zoo again soon and maybe heritage park too. =)

Yay....

Well we found the area we wanna live in and some potential jobs so things were looking up till we got a call from the TMO in GA telling us we are missing this random paper to get our reimbursement finished... they actually told Brian that he technically doesn't rate it now... i am gonna have to yell at someone i think... $3000 that we have to once again just pay for? No way, heads will roll!

Well we got in yesterday around 2 pm got the truck unloaded and taken to the rental place and now i am gonna pass out! It has been a LONG week! I will post pics i took on the way later =)

2 Days!

Well the truck is almost loaded mostly only have boxes left. We are just waking up from a much needed nap and are gonna finish up by tonight. The carpet cleaning lady is coming tomorrow after church so its gotta be ready then we leave on Monday morning! Just spent a nice chunk of dough to get a rental truck yesterday so yay for that. I am so freakin tired and oddly looking forward to sleepin in a hotel haha. Ok time to get a move on it!

Little Boys...

I do love them I swear I do but all this cleaing is making me upset. 90% of the crap on the walls is from the boys.... I moved their bunkbed out yesterday and took it apart and what did I find? A whole mess of black foot prints along where the top of the mattresses met the wall. It was so nasty... and how would I see it unless I moved the beds. Ya not pleased. Today I get to primer all the walls that Mikey drew on with markers. Its gonna be a LONG weekend. =(

And the countdown begins!

Well the yard sale was last saturday and it was a minor success we made about 200 that day and another 20 yesterday then hopefully another 100 today if this guy comes to get these couches ><. I also got a wicked sunburn on the back of my neck and all over my face... yay... So this week we have scrub downs! I started last night and holy moses the boys got hand prints everywhere! Washing and primering all these walls is gonna be... fun. The boys start their last week of school here today and I am very sad about this, their teachers have been fabulous and they boys have learned so much. It will be sad to say goodbye to the good school but I hear the schools in Henderson are ok so here's hoping. So we leave in a week and get the truck on Saturday to load up. Only problem is the boys need to go to the dentist before we leave (Mikey got these weird burns on his teeth) so I have been harrassing dentists all morning. Technically we could do it while we are at moms just wanted to get it done now. Anywho better stop wasting time and get cleanin!

Party!

Well we had a long but fun day. This morning we got to just hang out at home but then after lunch we went to the Norrises house for Brian and Mikey's party. We played musical chairs had 2 kids draw pictures of the boys and beat the heck out of an 8 lb pinata! The cake was yummy and they got some neat gifts! Sadly i was pretty busy running around while we were playing games and stuff but we ghot some pics of cake and presents so here they are =D Enjoy! Oh and in this little vid we were tryin to get the candles to stay lit but they got blown out by the wind so we faked it and i missed everyone singing =( but the kids were ready to tear the cake apart as you can see lol

Juju is turning 5!

In the midst of all the packing i am also planning Brians' 5th birthday party and since we will begone before Mikeys we are going to do a joint party so all their friends can come. They are gonna hate leaving =(. As far as Brian is concerned as long as there is a pinata(can't figure out how to do the thing on the n lol but you know what i mean)he doesnt care about much else. Although he is very insistent hislittle girlfriend Shayla comes... already hookin up with chicks crazy kid. Mikey wants his friend Gia to come but i am not sure what to put on the invitations since Mikey's birthday is technically so far off still. Oh well i'll figure it out. The worst thing is i got the pinata already btu i am not sure what else to get... mostly because it might rain but also because i am not sure what the typical things to do at parties are... this is the first party they have been old enough to help plan and they have small ideas lol. I guess i should just get a cake and ice cream let 'em slaughter the Optimus Prime pinata and call it a day huh? lol well what ever we do pictures will be on here hopefully saturday night so come look then!

One last thing we are starting our drive on the 4th of May and apparently we have to take 7 days to get the full reimbursement from the military so anyone know cool places to go between southern NC and southern Ut? Mom said maybe go to Nauvoo? Not even sure how to get there or anything but any suggestions would be great =D. Hope you all are well and good luck to my cousins havin babies soon!

Moving

Well we are giving our 30 days on the 5th of April and we will be gone the first week of May not sure what day exactly yet but we shall see. Now comes the tedious task of packing and cleaning. ><

I am so brain dead....

Somehow my brain has gone on vacation and left me with a crappy replacement that likes to put my cell through the wash... needless to say there were casualties and i will be without my cell till probly tuesday or wednesday. The worst part is trying to find everyones phone numbers again... ><

Money...

With everything going to crap in the country what does this mean for us and our children? There are jobs dropping out of the market left and right, businesses that have been around for a hundred years are going bankrupt... is our future dismal or is there hope? I don't know about you guys but i am terrified about getting out and becoming a civilian family again.... how do you know you will make enough to support the kids? How do you know that the job you are going to school to do (and in some cases making more debt for yourself to get) will even exist by the time you are done let alone pay what we need to survive right now. How did our country get so messed up? Since when are we using paper money that has no gold value? ..... are we counterfeiters now? If everyone took all there money from the banks would there even be enough? These are the things that i dread and dwell on... the fact that the future i have worked so hard to make for my kids and my family is no longer reality... what is going to happen... how will we make it?

Nothing to report

Well things are the same as they have been for a few months now. Mikey and Juju are going to school, Brian is still working on base... he will take terminal march 24th, and i am ... well... still here haha. Nothing exciting going on yet but i know its coming! As soon as Brian takes terminal its gonna get crazy! Ok my stuffy nose needs some attention have a good day!

Well I may not have voted for him but today will definately be a defining moment in our country's history and yay we are here for it! Congrats Obama now please make things better!

In other news in case i have yet to mention it Mikey has now started school... yes both of my boys are gone for half a day every M T TH F. Its great for them but sad for me. Mikey comes home every day and says to me when i ask what he did... 'I played toys i played EVERYTHING!' with much enthusiasm.

Our attempts to get a girl are still failing but i do have a docs appt to see whats wrong with me so hope that goes well lol. Brian has turned in all his gear and will be taking 'terminal' leave in about a month and a half. This means that as of March 12th he will be free ... (unless they are total jerks and call him back which they could do) We will then start packing cleaning and junking till his EAS May 15th then we will be heading home or at least close by... details on that when he goes to his class to get back into civilian life. We are hoping that we can go right to henderson and have him start school but not sure how thats gonna go due to GI bill hangups. Did u know rent there is anywhere from 900 to 1300 a month o.O scaryness.
